Almost a big sister!

Wow, it's been a really long time since I've updated this site! Even Brad has started giving me grief! It's true, I'm slacking. It's not like I'm doing anything all day! ;) haha! :)

Well, we actually have been pretty busy since I last updated! Nora and I have been enjoying our days together and we keep very busy! Brad has been VERY busy at work and is enjoying it. The people he works with are great and he has been able to be involved in some very interesting projects.

Nora's birthday weekend was a lot of fun and we had a great time celebrating and visiting with all of the friends and family who came! Here are some of the pictures from the weekend.

We got to take a mini vacation in September by piggy-backing a trip on a business thing Brad had to do. We went to Amelia Island in Florida and had a great time. Nora saw the ocean for the first time and enjoyed playing with the shells. She really liked playing in the pool and still asks to go swim in the pool each time she sees her swim diapers! Around the house, we are getting ready for the arrival of our little girl! We've been talking to Nora a lot about being a big sister and about what to expect when the baby comes. She's actually starting to understand and seems to be excited. She's also excited to have her regular-sized mommy back! She understands that that will come along with the new baby and when asked when mommy will be able to sit with her in the rocking chair, she says, "Mommy sit with me when my sister comes out of mommy's belly." haha!
