A real update with pictures and everything!

So, there has been a lot going on around here, hence the lack of posts, I guess! Brad's been working in D.C. for the past few weeks and will continue to for the next couple of months. As part of the PMF program, he is working on a lot of different projects and the current one is based out of D.C., which adds to his commute (but yey for the shuttle!) but is very exciting. Stacie's been counting down the days to the end of the school year - it's been a challenging year at work for sure, but she has enjoyed many aspects of it.

We have some life-changing news, which goes along with the life-changing new baby! We've decided that Stacie will be staying home after this school year! We're looking forward to this change and think it will be very positive for us. Yey!

The weather has been getting nicer around here and we've been spending a lot of time outside. Nora loves to be outside coloring on the sidewalk, walking Abby, or playing with the neighbors.

We got her a blow-up pool for the hot days - here she is trying it out with Mommy and Taylor. Ahe wasn't too impressed at first, but she got more into it. Next time we'll have to let the water warm up some more!

We got yet another great "hand-me-down" from our neighbors and Nora loves it!

Nora has been expressing her opinions more and more (and louder and louder) and that extends to her fashion choices. She loves her boots and we don't bother fighting that battle - she wears her boots ALL the time lately!

She loves coloring at her little table and usually sticks to the paper (though she likes coloring her arms and fingers also - gotta love washables!)
She is also a pretty fearless - she likes to climb on the "big kid" playground equipment, to go down the biggest slides, and, as you can see here, get as high as she can... she ran over to this light post and climbed her way up! (There were some stairs at the bottom, she didn't just shimmy all the way up!)
Daddy's girl!

She's starting to let mom put her hair up sometimes, which is fun. This goes back to her new-found fashion sense... she sometimes thinks it looks pretty and wants to "see in the mirror".

Mommy's girl too!

We'd love to see any of our friends and family who would like to come visit! For now we still have a regular guest room, so now's the time! :)
